ABOUT THE
eSFL
HALL OF FAME
The
eSFL Hall of Fame was founded in 2002.
It's purpose is to honor elite eSFL participants
and highlight their accomplishments.
|
|
BOARD OF SELECTORS
With
the exception of the league commissioner, all
appointments are good for lifetime and can be
terminated only by resignation. The
commissioner appoints all board of selectors and is
responsible for replacing those who no longer wish
to perform such duties.
Charged
with the vital task of ensuring enshrinees are the
finest the league has produced is the eSFL
Football Hall of Fame's 5-person Board of
Selectors.
T. Rhodes (2002)
C. Templin (2020)
B. Fields (2008)
J. Perdew (2011)

The
Process
Takes
place annually
Every year, after week 9 of the NFL season,
the commissioner will compile a list of eligible
candidates. The list will be posted on the eSFL
official site AND emailed to all active owners. A poll
will be created.
Owners Vote
All owners will be required to vote before
setting their week 9 lineup.
Owners may vote for as many members as they
wish, or vote for none.
The commissioner will provide a detailed
biography of each candidate for owners to review and
base their vote on.
All candidates who receive at least 5 owner
votes will then be considered for enshrinement by the
Board of Selectors.
Board of
Selectors Vote
The Board
of Selectors will carefully scrutinize candidates
submitted to them by the owner vote process.
Candidates must receive 100 percent approval of the
board to be elected into the Hall of Fame.
The board of Selectors MAY ENSHRINE ONLY 1 PERSON EACH
YEAR. If more than 1 nominee obtained the required 5
owner votes, the nominee who was not enshrined
automatically is considered by the Board the following
year.
Eligibility
Active
eSFL members must have 7 straight seasons to be on
the owners ballot.
To be on the owners
ballot, retired or inactive nominees must
have been so for 3 straight seasons.
Any
nominee who failed to receive at least 1 owner
vote will be ineligible until at least 3 years
have passed.
Any nominee who failed
to be enshrined after 3 owner vote attempts, will
become ineligible. (See Legend Consideration
below)
Legend Consideration
To
assure that older non active members are
considered, the commissioner, may name nominees
who have failed to be enshrined, and are no longer
eligible for consideration. These nominees will be
considered at the same time as the annual owners
approved list.

Robinson
and his Wagoneers were one of the 6
charter eSFL franchises. They not
only succeeded, but it could be said
that his teams dominated. Although
his overall franchise record of
30-28 is nothing remarkable, his 2
ballistic bowl titles and 3
appearances over a 4 year span
will be tough to top. Robinson
retired after his team lost to the
Rachal Rebels in Ballistic Bowl IV.
He was a unanimous choice in 2004 to
be enshrined into the hall,
obtaining all 5 votes. Besides
his on field accomplishments, he
served the league as director of
sportsmanship in 2002 and was also a
pivotal player in the foundation of
the league and many of it's current
rules. |

The
Reapers were one of the
first 6 charter eSFL
franchises, originally
known as the Steelers in
2000. Meneely's teams made
the playoffs every season.
Owner Tim "the dawg"
Meneely mumbled his way to
a career eSFL record of 46
regular season wins in 5
seasons. The meneely
franchise is best
remembered by what is
believed to have been the
best Ballistic Bowl ever,
2000. The game went down
to the final tick on ABC's
Monday Night Football,
with M. Faulk breaking his
and all Steeler fans
hearts. Meneely was
instrumental in most of
the current league scoring
rules and is considered
one of the leagues
founding fathers. After
the 2004 season Tim moved
back home to live with his
parents in PA and is an
active member of the eSFL
Legendary committee. Tim
was inducted into the eSFL
hall of Fame in December
of 2006. |

Ron Pardue and his
Bruisermakers are considered, by
nearly everyone associated with the
eSFL, as one of the most brilliant
coaching minds and successful
franchises in league history. Although
his Bruisermaker franchise never won a
Ballistic Bowl (won
as the Standout Coalition
coach in 2014),
Pardue led them to 4 appearances over
a 16 year career. His winning
percentage at the time of his
induction of .653 easily surpassed all
owners, and his career mark of .597 is
a feat to be honored. His seasons of
double digit wins, 12-2 in 2007, 11-3
in 2010, 10-3 in 2012, 11-3 in 2013,
and a 10-2 in 2015 are all examples of
his dominance. In his 16 year career
he only had 5 losing seasons with 3 of
those coming during what must have
been tough emotional times in his life
(2016, 17, 18). Additionally, Ron
coached the league owned Standout
Coalition team to a Ballistic Bowl
title in 2014, making the 2015 season
a "carry over" and one of the most
exciting seasons in league history.
Besides his on field accomplishments,
he served on the leagues Hall of Fame
Board from 2009 until his tragic
untimely passing in 2021. Ron was, and
remains, at the time of this writing,
a pivotal member in many league rules
and its formation. Ron passed away
Feb. 22, 2021 and will greatly missed
by all current, active, and future
members of the league.
